Community Engagement
One of our primary directives is being engaged with our local and global community. Our efforts are enhanced by the networking of relationships that we build! We are passionate about discovering and extracting all the benefits that exotic mushrooms can bring to our world and making those health benefits available for people all over the world!
Take a look at the various ways we are engaged either through projects or conversations!
Reishi Woodlot Project

In the spring of 2023, we embarked on a new project with several farmers in the Waterloo Region of Southwestern Ontario. The goal was to see how a particular strain of Reishi (Ganoderma Lucidum) would grow in the natural environment of several local woodlots. This strain of Reishi is often called the “mushroom of immortality.” It is one of the oldest mushroom species used for medicinal purposes and is widely cultivated in Asia. Reishi is an edible medicinal mushroom known as “Ling Zhi” in China and “Reishi" or "Manetake” in Japan.
Our 2024 project was a great success and we are looking forward to more growth and community participation throughout Ontario in 2025. If you are interested in naturally grown reishi please reach out us - we would love to be your supplier!
